Hey,

I’m trying to convert an mpeg to a DivX, but every time it gives me a “sync error” at the same position. Converting worked for me until now, I don’t see what’s changed. I tried to change the audio compression from mp3 to another type, but it didn’t help - same error, same position. I’m using the DivX 4.12 codec, if that helps.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Myst.

Try upgrading to the newest codec, I think it’s 5.0 now. [Divx 5.0](http://www.divx.com/divx/)

Another thing that might be causing this is your graphics card. I work in the audiovisual lab at my college, and one of our video editing computers had to have its video card replaced because it turned out the dumb thing couldn’t sync up frames with Divx, which sounds a lot like your problem.
