So now its my job to not only protect the black person from these evil, aggressive old ladies, but also to shield her from a mass shooter. Your point does not compute and proves the reason for putting the “don’t sit” signs has zero to do with the story. ---

…why did they put don’t sit here signs on display furniture at a trade show, why did you run away when a black person broke the rules, and why did people laugh at the black person because they sat on a chair? ---

I didn’t “run away”, and I said the people “snickered”. But here is my suggestion. Perhaps you can create your own thread and start a debate about the furniture signs there since you and several other posters are so obsessed with the reasons behind them. Maybe collectively you all can reach a consensus about why my company may have placed them on the chair. Instead of hijacking this thread, all I’m saying. ---
