True story, when Metro opened a friend of my big brother got a job right out of high school repairing escalators for Metro. I used to see him working on them when I was in the system from time to time. He’s since retired, his entire professional career was repairing Metro escalators and his son is now working for Metro repairing escalators. It’s the ultimate in job security.
