[Vivek gets interviewed by Mehdi Hasan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UgCe_k8aR8) The one and only thing I’ll give Vivek credit for is agreeing to be interviewed on a “hostile” forum. Many of his rivals do not have the spine. It’s painful watching to be honest. Vivek basically tries to fillibuster the entire time, including not letting Mehdi finish questions. Mehdi, for his part, is ready for some of these tactics so he tries to shoot out the questions quickly. The result is a lot of cross-talk and points that are hard to follow. The transcript would be extremely damning for Vivek, as he contradicts himself even within the interview. But watching the actual recording at normal speed it’s hard to follow the conversation at all. No doubt his supporters will say he pwned MSNBC. ---

I mean, he’s a Harvard grad who makes a fuckton of money by getting other people to capitalize things that end up not working. He’s just like 90% of the VCs in existence: convinced of his own superhuman intelligence, of the fact that he’s a self-made man, that libertarianism is the answer, that he rarely makes mistakes. tl;dr just another rich asshole. ---

I don’t remember the occasion, and it may have just been audio, where trump was repeatedly coaching somebody on the correct way to pronounce Smarmy’s name. I think he was impressed with the guy, but I don’t know the extent to which Smarmy sucks his ass.
