Pedophiles don’t operate publicly. Still, what would people say if he grabbed an young woman by the hips, lifted he blouse and kissed her on her tummy. Would that be okay? What if the recipient was a young man? I mean where do you draw the line? ---

After watching the video, the thing that bothered me the most wasn’t the kiss, it was the lifting of the shirt. That seemed like such a violation of personal space. Not pervy so much as WTF? ---

Seems like it’s already been resolved, but what a tempest in a teacup. Gotten so men can’t even touch children without screams of PEDOPHILE! In India, too, affection towards children is looked upon in a whole different light. Now let me point out that our way is not bad, either, we’ve just gone over the edge. Now an Uncle or Grandpa touching the kid in the wrong way is more likely to be noticed. But we needn’t be suspicious of everyone. In India (and here!) incest happens way more often than is admitted, and thus is hidden. So it needs to be watched for but not every freakin’ second. ---
