OK, how do you make the accented a on your keyboard? I am on a Mac keyboard, if that makes any difference. I can do these things: é î ø © œ \* ´® Ý ¥ ˆø \* å ß · ° ¬ = ñ ç µ î ü But where’s the a with the accent? ---

**YB** , check in your keyboard layout and choose the appropriate flag, that should do it (I have a Mac at work and we have both Mac and PC at home. I love the Mac, but I’m learning to appreciate the PC too). As for the translation, it is written in _joual_ or Québec French slang. I doubt if babelfish would be able to provide a true translation. We are a board whose mission is to fight ignorance. Technically, **BossK** joined for this reason, let him do is own research for once ! On MS Word on my PC, e.g., I type control-’ and then e to produce é. I think there is a similar process on your mac, but it’s been so long since I’ve used one that I don’t remember what it is. ---

voilà **VOILÀ!!!** **V-fricking-oilà!!!** Thank you. That was driving me nuts. I looked a little harder at my keyboard, and figured it out. On the Mac, you press Option and the ` key (the same key that has the ~ thing) and then you press “a” right after. Voilà! You get the à!!! Works like a charm! Thanks everyone! ààààààààààààààààààààààààà ààààààààààààààààààààààààà àààààààààààààààààààààààààààààà Nothing to see here. Move along… àààààààààààààààààààà ---
