In [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=669337#post15611832), someone stated (probably in jest) that adolescent males deliver more ejaculate per orgasm, the premise being that we produce less and less (per “shot,” so to speak) as we age. Is this true? Note that I’m speaking about the volume of ejaculate, and not the number of sperm. ---

Wait, what? Why would older men be in greater demand if the volume of their semen is _less_? I thought those who like money shots like, well, rich money shots? Anyway, yes, it’s true. Volume does decrease with age, about 0.03 ml per year of age after age 22 (tested to age 80), for healthy, non-smoking males.
