# Vomiting in the sink?? (TMI, as you may have guessed)

Oh god! Why do so many of you people vomit? I gag when I brush my teeth too but not to the point of vomiting! Is this all from drinking or what? This is THE most disgusting thread I have ever read! People vomiting all over the place, I’m afraid to even go outside now.

Harmuph, **pizzabrat**. Though the story I mentioned was alcohol-related, for years I suffered with migraine-related vomiting. The years of experience paid off when I started experimenting with fermented grain and grape products, let me tell you. (Another good place to vomit–a plastic-bag-lined garbage can. The receptacle of choice in my pre-adolescent migraineur years.)

So have I. Awful stuff. Since I started drinking copious amounts of soda (caffeine), they seem to have left, and my occurences are rare, with no vomiting. Not recommending, just stating an opinion.

I’m a tad surprised to hear a veteran of your status say that. Given the general community standards, I’d say I’m in the Top 100 at best, at _absolute_ best.

Well, I do agree with you to a point. While I don’t neccesarily feel that the sink is “out of place”, it is a poor choice, IMHO.

When I was a kid, Mom always escorted us kids to the sink and held our hair back and said soothing things while we profaned the washbasin.

Having few puking opportunities in high school (Irish Christian Brothers keep you on the Very straight-and-narrow, and Mommy has gotten over caring every time you get ill) I remember being surprised when in college the practice of puking in the toilet seemed foreign to me.

Got the hang of it fast, though… the Irish where I went to college were a fast-drinking lot.
