What the fuck, he’s calling the 8 years of Obama “the slowest recovery” like he’s only counting the first 12 or 18 months of Obama’s presidency. From like 2010 to 2016 the economy was fucking skyrocketing by the metrics that rich people like to convince us are important. ---

When Trump’s taxes came up Pence said that Trump is a job creator that creates a lot of payroll tax revenue. Payroll tax that’s paid by the workers. He’s bragging that Trump gives other people the opportunity to pay their taxes. Unbelievable. ---

I think Pence may actually have a point here. Is Biden planning to roll back the entire Trump tax cuts (which included a meager amount of relief for non-rich people) or just the portions that affect the rich and corporations? Her statements that he’ll reverse the Trump tax cuts (in their entirety) and that he won’t raise taxes for anyone under 400k seem to be in conflict. ---

I’m depressingly convinced that nobody even considering voting Trump/Pence has _any idea whatsoever_ how many half-truths and lies of omission have come from Pence … so far. ---

That’s trivially easy to answer - pass a new tax bill that repeals Trump’s cuts and puts on new rates that raise for the rich and stay the same (or go down) for everyone else. ---
