So how come they get to sit down? Is that so old Dick won’t have to fall as far if he does have a heart attack? Edwards has made a few slips Iran/Iraq, Saddam/Osama but he does correct himself right away and at least he does seem to know there is a difference between them. He just used the term “outsourcing”! Do we drink? ---

Wow, that was an excellent statistic for Edwards to quote. 5 billion compared 200+ billion. Cheney responded that it’s _only_ 120 billion. :rolleyes: ---

Edwards has to keep correcting the bullshit. I think Cheney’s starting to lose it. His strategy seems to have been to try to bluster theough the debate on nothing but pure bullshit and he’s pissed that Ewdards keeps busting him on it. ---

I was wondering when Edwards/Kerry was going to get spanked about that “$200 million dollars for Iraq” thing…thats been debunked on factcheck for a while now. And the “90%” thing. Chaney is doing well…he’s calm and collected. Edwards is doing well too…damn he’s smooth. This is a LOT better debate than the presidential debate. -XT ---

I’m having trouble hearing Cheney, he seems to be a bit mumbley. I have my volume up high and I can hear Edwards quite clearly. BTW, Edwards just mentioned Halliburton and Cheney did not comment on it. ---

This is what I thought the first debate was going to be, a parroting of party lines. However, Edwards just hit Cheney with a “Yeah, well the defense bills Kerry voted against you voted against also.” Still, this is boring as hell. Cheney is saying Kerry flip flops, Edwards is saying that Kerry is resolute and the repubs are lying. Repeat ad nauseum. The moderator keeps saying new question, why aren’t there any new answers? ---
