> **Stuart Scott** – I really like his style, but it’s about time to retire “As cool as the other side of the pillow”…

He ripped this one off from Seattle Supersonics play-by-player Kevin Calabro, who has used that one for at least a decade now.

My favorite was an old Portland NW wrestling announcer who, upon a particularly hard slam, would shout “Felt that one in the crow’s nest!”.

My personal peeve is the after-game analyses that always lamely justify a score or a win by the player “having more heart” or “he wanted it more”. That’s what passes for expert analysis these days?

Is he the one who came up with “Bobby ‘Uneeda’ Ojeda”?

I love when Jerry Remy refers to any player’s midsection as “the kitchen.” “Oof! Right in the kitchen!” I also credit Don Orsillo for bringing the phrase “all nuded up” into my vocabulary (referring to a naked dude running around the field).

I love those guys.

The P{ittsburgh Penguins color guy is awesome (what’s his name:

“Scratch my back with a hacksaw!” (For when he has seen something amazing)

“He put that top shelf where grandma hides the cookies!”
