It happened to me and my sister last year (we’re 38 and 40 respectively). We were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, and two uniformed policewomen walked past us. They mighta been 22 or 23. Now, these are authority figures in society, but my sister and I just looked at each other with the same thought: “FUUUUCCCCK!” ---

Many people have uniform fetishes, especially if they involve handcuffs. It’s not abnormal. 😃 ---

This is the first president that’s younger than I am but only by about 2 years. It doesn’t make me feel old at all. I love that my generation has finally made it. ---

Yes, I can see I’m not the only one who has had this thought cross his mind. I’m 10 years older than the President-elect and I also alerted my brother to the fact that he’s 14 years older. Of all the events that have occurred over the many decades, this one rather puts things in perspective - when construction began on the Berlin Wall, Barack Obama was one week old.
