My sister was watching Stargate SG-1 and called me up to ask if the dark-haired Tok’ra lady was the one who played Pamela in V: The Final Battle. It took me a minute to remember who Pamela even was, but I looked it up and found out she was right. She said it was the voice that tipped her off. (They both use some voice distortion, and I guess they sounded similar.) When I was double-checking this just now I realized that she also played Ursa in Superman II (bad phantom zone lady). That’s not a connection I would have made. ---

The first time I saw her character in the movie, she looked so much like Amy Sedaris that I momentarily thought it was her (and was not even completely convinced it wasn’t until I read the end credits). ---

On the “I can’t believe it’s not Vincent D’Onofrio - oh wait… it is!” front, I found him almost unrecognisable in _The Salton Sea_ and I even had to look three times in “The Break Up” (although the voice gave it away). The man is a-freakin-mazing. mm ---
