[This](http://www.lsnv.org/Introduction_GDC_Manual.htm) says that a motion craving oyer requires the plaintiff to produce a document referenced in their pleadings but not actually part of it (the pleadings.). A profert says [that](http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/profert) the document is already in the court. IANA lawyer. I am probably very wrong. Accept at your own risk. ---
