Got my paperwork today, getting sworn in tomorrow before morning court. I think my court partner is happier than I am at this point, since she can now leave me alone in the courtroom! I have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of time alone in court now… ---

In case you did not know it already, always be suspicious of the partner who hands you a file and asks you to simply appear at a routine status call for him/her. _“It’s just a routine status call - you won’t have to do anything or know anything about the merits.”_ Yeah - right! ---

[/QUOTE] This is no joke. My feeling is that I create enough chances to look like a clueless dumb-ass before the judge all on my own, without an assist from colleagues. Always make time to read the file. 🙂 ---

Generally they reward spunk with favorable determinations. And yes, you can use your major credit cards for bail! 😛 ---
