At irk, busy day today. Sadly my point-and-click training has been cancelled for this afternoon so I can’t boast about any more accomplishments with regard to box-ticking and suchlike. blueberries are purple. perhaps blackberries should be callled purpleberries? I _loved_ algebra - it came very easily for me. I aced the class and got a 97 on the Regents (state-wide final - the basis for scholarship awards) - I spent that entire summer wondering where the hell I’d lost 3 points. ---

I like algebra, too. And trigonometry. I use it in my job, though. Today is Firday for me! Yay! Mr Rebo lost a cap off his tooth! He has tomorrow off, which he was going to spend studying, and now he’ll have to get an emergency appointment at the dentist. Life just sucks sometimes, doesn’t it? At least it doesn’t hurt, he says. ---

I’m up early because I have to be at work while some new equipment is installed. So far I had one cat sneeze a big glob of snot on me and a other one spilled my coffee. I hate getting up early. ---

Almost didn’t come to work today. For now particular reason, except that it’s slow and I was _tiiiiired_. …which is my own fault for staying up till 12:30. I’m working on building my geek cred by making an awesome flowchart of how stuff is _supposed_ to go at work. It’s going to go up on the wall under the order boards. So far it’s six pages long. ---

Not only do I like algebra, I taught algebra in junior college 25 years ago! Oh, yeah, home. I was going to take tomorrow off, but I can’t. I got some stuff dumped on me late today and I want to get it done this week. With luck, I can get out early. And _\_ I’ve sold my van!!! _\_ A coworker is buying it for his daughter… and her 3 kids… and the kid that’s on the way… :eek: We’re doing the deal next Friday since it’s payday. So yay! That’s all I’ve got today. My life is boring. ---

Just this one cat has chronic snot nose. Every so often he sneezes out a huge snot rocket. Then he’s good again for a few days. It’s a test of your reflexes, usually you get a warning sniffle, then blamm! If you don’t run or duck and cover then you may regret it. In the case of this morning I was not paying attention. Actually, dogs are probably worse snot and slobber flingers. But people just expect it from dogs because dogs are disgusting and cats act all prissy. Right now I am going crazy because I have had hives and swelling on both my hands for 2 days now and now my toes are joining in. Arrrggggghhhh! ---
