Those of you who breathed a sigh of relief when I headed back to the States now have more worries. Today, with the stroke of a pen, my mother regained her Canadian citizenship, and is a dual citizen. Not only that, all my brothers and sisters are now dual citizens. Perhaps we’ll start a new town in Saskatchewan. ---

I’m still fairly consistently amused that my Canadian citizenship comes from people who fled the U.S. at the Revolution, and my U.S. citizenship comes from people who fled Canada at Confederation. ---

We should screw with Canada by automatically bestowing American citizenship on a everyone in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. ---

Crescent Park is also a great place to go for a jog on crispy cold days in the late fall. ---
