I didn’t do laundry last night - my son was looking at a truck he wants to buy and asked me to check it out. It’s an hour drive each way, so it’s not like it’s right around the corner. That was my last night, it was a little late. Laundry tonight, oh joy. ---

Up in the middle of the night again. I woke up at 2:30, Sah-son was still up YAY! so he could take care of the dog. Then he informs me he is out of food. If I want food delivered today I had to order it by 3am. I got the order in at 2:58 but I’d rather have taken my time and refined it a bit. I’ve got lots of leftover Chinese food so I am good to go for a bit. Twenty two more days and counting. ---

Up, caffeinated, and off to work in a bit. Helping in the da Hood store today. [This](https://homes.yahoo.com/news/house-deigned-too-modern-exist-tweeting-life-150007642.html) is why I would never own a house in an area with a HOA. Although if they have to tear it down, I would replace it with a Stonehenge copy(an 8000yr old design can’t be “too modern”). Red, I’m stocked. I gotta go on a beer and (coffee)bean run after work, it being payday and my Firday today. 🙂 **Magnum** , I like doing laundry. Except when they hold the Children’s Riot Festival at the laundromat. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 94 for the day. The weather PTB say we have a sixty percent chance of rain Sattidy. Folks are comin’ over to hang at the cee-mint pond. I am smokin’ chikin boobs and laigs for Sattidy. I shall also smoke four \ Boston butts \ since I’ll have the smoker goin’. I have only one \ smoked butt \ left in the freezer. :eek: **Spidey** can I be myself? Ok, that’s all I got for now. Need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. I have been informed that over the three day upcomin’ weekend, the orifice is bein’ re-painted. This means instead of dirty beige, it will now be clean beige. 😃 Thus [del]minion[/del] assistant and I have taken everything off the walls and put it all in our designated space to store stuff aka an empty cubicle out in the cubicle farm that encompasses a huuuuuuuuuge room in the center of the buildin’. I went down the street to the sto’ and bought cookies cause, well, cookies, and this is an occasion that deserves cookies. After all we did manual labor! :eek: [del]Minion[/del] Assistant says she has never had a boss who did stuff like bring goodies to the orifice to share. That is just sad. ---

There’s a minimum number we have to catch for the university to allow the society to continue, so I try help out. It’s otherwise free. **Swampy** , as you well know, good managers treat their people \*right \*and \*fair \*because in the end they make their managerial life easier through greater group effort and positive outlook. Sadly this simple nugget of truth appears to be beyond the comprehension of 70% of managers, at a minimum. ---
