# Wallet with magnetic money clip and cell phone in same pocket.  Potential problem???

I have one of those front-pocket mini-wallets with magnetic money clip on the back. I’ve had it for a few years now and have always been careful about not carrying my cell phone or ipod with it in the same pocket. Should I be worried about this or am I just paranoid??

AFAIK it’s only the iPod Classic that still uses a magnetic hard drive rather than flash memory. If you have a flash-memory based iPod you should be fine. Cellphones don’t use magnetic storage devices.

An mp3 player with a magnetic hard drive won’t be affected either.
