I’m not a copy editor anymore (thank god–shitty job!) and haven’t been for 6 months now. I guess my mind is trying to get rid of all the bad memories and my copy editing skills went with them… 3. My writing style is much more relaxed here on the board. But what I am REALLY trying to say is none of what I just said really matters, because what I was really trying to say in that drunken post is that Walloon should pay more attention to his/her own spelling. In a recent post he/she mention being “desparate.” It’s desperate, Walloon. (At least my spelling ability is partially intact!) ---

There are few things more annoying than living grammar/spelling checkers. “Whatever point you are trying to make doesn’t matter to me, because I get a thrill out of correcting some trivial error in the way that you attempt to present your ideas! NYAH NYAH!” Great, thanks Dad. :rolleyes: ---
