I’d say it’s far more likely the dog has teeth.

No no, the little’uns still have teeth. They’re all SILVER, but they do have them.

And I personally would prefer dog germs to person germs, but that’s just me. People are super-nasty as far as germs go. Dogs are much better unless you are unfortunate enough to have an allergy or a phobia.

> Because if that woman brought in a dog that was dressed like a service dog, and helped her like a service dog, but wasn’t actually a certified service dog, where would we be then?? Oh, the horror.

Yeah, if it really helped her, not so bad. But around here, dudes just wanna bring in their precious snookums, because they bring precious snookums everywhere, and thus they are special and entitled. So, they lie.

> Most guide horses are particularly small mini’s, they’re about the size of a large dog. Proponents argue they are less distractable than dogs because they have no chase or prey drive, and they don’t care that much about petting and human attention. However, the particular advantage of a mini is that their useful service life is 30-40 years. Since it takes a long time to train a guide animal, that’s huge. Miniature horses must be housebroken and under control at all times, just like a dog.

But I’d like to see a horse fit under an airplane seat. 😃 Or a restaurant booth.

Breeding chase and prey drive out of guide dogs is important, as is training them to not have these drives. My dog, while spoiled rotten, still is very good at not reacting or pulling after other dogs. Part of the training is for the dog to navigate a course with treats and not be distracted. And I think petting helps build a bond, which is important.
I’m not knocking horses, mind you. It just should take more than throwing a jacket on a dog to make it a service dog. Our old pet dog, who was brilliant, would not have done well at all.

Did you look at those pics? Most of the guide minis are smaller than golden Retreivers and could definitely go under a restaurant booth.

I was just explaining why some people think they’re a good idea, since the comments regarding service horses were all in the horsefucking direction and made out like its a big crazy joke.

At any rate, guide horses aren’t a knock against dogs. Both are awesome.

> Retail business take losses every day because people touch shit with dirty, sticky hands, drop items, open items, vomit in the store, poop in the store…

Based on a quick google, a day at Walmart _without_ a poopy floor is a rare privilege.

[Google Search: _poop on floor in walmart_](https://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&sclient=psy-ab&q=poop+on+floor+in+walmart&oq=poop+on+floor+in+walmart&gs_l=hp.3...19149.30894.1.31243.44.34.7.1.1.0.480.5784.4j8j6j4j3.25.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.5M2AEUhHCtE&pbx=1&fp=1&biw=1040&bih=546&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&cad=b)
