He thinks that China will pay our child care expenses through tariffs. Vance is skirting the issue by saying we can “penalize other countries” to pay for child care. But tariffs is what he means. What was the saying about Giuliani 20 years ago? “Noun, Verb, 9/11”? Vance isn’t really trying to address any specifics, but there’s a lot of “Noun, Verb, Kamala Harris’s open borders” and “Noun, Verb, Democrats shipping jobs overseas” that I’m afraid is going to be effective soundbites. ---
