Or in college, running pizzas. I remember one night, after taking the order, our counter guy chuckled and said that when the guy on the phone was asked for a callback number, it took him a little while to figure it out. Phone dude said that ever since they had discovered that the last four numbers made a bad word, that was what they used and remembered and he had to use the phone to back-figure the numbers.

Of course we all had to stop and use the number to figure out the bad word. It didn’t take us long. Even the boss stopped and inspected our conclusion. He concurred. We got back to work.

Nope. I’ve actually stopped using it because it is unfair, and the lowest of low-hanging fruit, if the word “teabagger” did not come from the Tea Party side, and my understanding is that it did not.
