All right, here’s the plan: 15 minutes or so at a time. Tackle one room or one area and clean like hell, then report back here. I’m going to start in the hall and bathroom, because they aren’t too bad, and I can finish them up quickly… Anyone in? You KNOW you’re just sitting there putzing around on the computer anyway… 10:53. At first, I read the thread title as “…and _get_ clean with me”. For a brief, wonderful moment, I thought I was being offered the opportunity to share a shower with **bodypoet**. Now I’m just going to have to deal with my disappointment for the rest of the day. And seeing as how I’m at work, I can’t exactly grab the vacuum cleaner or the Windex and start cleaning somewhere. ---

There are laundry baskets full of clean–yes, CLEAN–clothes just begging to be put away. Keep a safe distance, now. ---

Good idea, **Bodypoet**! I really need to get my house under control. The place has fallen apart over the winter. I was taking Zoloft for depression after my miscarriage last fall, and it worked for the depression, but it also made me incredibly absentminded. I’d start cleaning something, get distracted and go off and do something else, accomplishing nothing whatsoever. I’m now getting used to half the dosage I was on, and will drop to 1/4 dosage next week. I feel slightly more coherent now. 🙂 Hmm…after I finish my bagel and tea, I’ll go fold the laundry. The _mountain_ of laundry. ---

Okay! I got the laundry put away, except for a basket of baby clothes that will have to wait until I move a dresser. Started on the living room, but still a LOT to go in there. How DID this place get so filthy? All these darn kids… **lee** , you just rest, and let everyone take care of you for now, okay? Besides, bedrest is the PERFECT reason for not doing housework. **NinetyWeight** , you get on that dishwasher Right Now. 😉 And then…and then…the junk drawer! (Gotcha–I KNEW you had one!) **Tabathina** , one step at a time. My house is a wreck too, and if you need a daily housekeeping buddy, I’m the woman. Drop me an email if you like. 11:43. I believe I’ll continue in the living room, since it’s one of my least favorite rooms to clean. I prefer the kitchen, where I can clean without bending over. Heh. Eyes room…first, trash. Then, we shall see… ---

Well, the bathroom’s all clean, and I’m just waiting for the floor to dry so I can put stuff back. Thanks, I had been meaning to clean the bathroom. The rest of my studio apartment has been cleaned recently, but I do need to vacuum, do dishes, maybe do laundry, and make my bed, so I will, after a brief break, start on those things and check in again later. ---

Here y’go, Kal. Sorry 'bout that, being Superwoman gets a little hectic sometimes. Better now? And Munch, for you, and a margarita, anything. Might there be chicken wings involved as well? I’d clean the tub for a few chicken wings… Hurray for Melandry, who is actually cleaning today! I’m still working in the living room…if you can imagine a frat house opening a day care center the day after a big party, that’s kind of what my front room looks like. Traces of big guys everywhere–dismantled keyboards, pocketknives and shavings of various things, lost homework–combined with all kinds of baby paraphenalia. Not to mention the dog hair… 12:09. No end in sight, yet… ---

I vacuumed, and took apart a pork roast already (overnight cooking in the crockpot to get shredded pork and real lard. I’m going to skim and clarify the pork fat later today). I’m going to do laundry, scrub the kitchen and bathroom floors, and get everything tidy. I do live in a studio/bachelor apartment, so it’s small, but there’s a surprising amount of cleaning that always needs to be done, **because** it’s so small. As soon as you move something, the whole place looks cluttered. Oh, yeah, scrub the sink and the bathroom counters, too. ---
