…instead of 1 large. These dumbasses do it all the time because of a 2 for 5.99 deal. So i have to carry two medium sized boxes that shift in the pizza warmer box and sometimes get smashed making the toppings come off the pizza. Then these moronic bitches call the store to complain because they know I would crush them if they gave me lip at their door.

Just order a large pizza and do half toppings on one side, half on the other. It’s not rocket science and it’s easier to deliver.

You seem to be under the impression that 1 large pizza is equal to 2 mediums.

Unless I specifically want a large for some reason, I’m probably gonna go with the cheaper two mediums.

To be fair, I don’t order Domino’s, so my dumbass moronic bitch won’t be bothering you 😛

I don’t know about Dominos, but I prefer ordering two of a smaller size to one of a larger size split in half because the smaller ones usually cook up better/crispier.

They’re _moronic bitches_ for not realizing Domino’s is a shitty company that can’t provide for decent transport of a promoted item?

And you think they are the bad ones for deciding to complain directly to the store about a valid issue with their delivery, when you clearly have an attitude problem at best and a problem with violent behavior at worst?

Wow!

If only you had a source of cardboard that you could use to make spacers that prevent the medium pizza boxes from shifting in the warmer box.

Seems like it’s Domino’s making your job hard with their deal, not the customers taking advantage of it.

That may be so, but a large Domino’s Pizza is not an 18" pizza.

Dominos gives the following:
Small (10") - Area of 1 is 31.4 while 2 is 62.8 square inches

One 18 inch pizza is bigger than two twelve inch pizzas? Since when is a Domino’s(or Pizza hut, for that matter) large 18 inches?

Well, let’s do the Domino’s math. At Domino’s a Large is 14". A medium is 12"

Let’s remember our friend area of a circle equals pi times radius squared:

A 12" pizza has an area of 113 square inches. Two 12" pizzas are 226 square inches, therefore.

A 14" pizza has an area of 154 square inches.

A 16" (X-tra large dominos) has an area of 201 square inches.

So two mediums at Domino’s is still more pizza than an extra large at Domino’s.

And then add in the factor of how much crust you get. If you are a crust-hating family, then maybe the larger pizza is good for you. But we love crust here. With a 16" extra large pizza we get 50 inches of crust. With 2 12" pizzas, we get 75 inches of crust.

I was about to remark that I have no idea where these numbers come from, but I do. You’re calculating circumference, not area. Circumference is 2_pi_r (or diameter \* pi). Area is pi times r squared.

Do your pizzas come with the topping all smashed up on one side of the box and then you call the store to complain? If not, then I’m sure the driver doesn’t care at all. I just don’t get the OP’s rant. It’s been years since I’ve had domino’s delivered, but is it really a common problem that medium pizzas get delivered with toppings smashed to one side? I would expect not, but I have almost no real-world experience in this. (The last few Domino’s I’ve gotten I’ve carried out.)
