So far I’ve only entered PvP zones to pick up exploration badges and a few temp powers. I don’t know that I can withstand the lure of “gigantic killer robots”, though. 😃 ---

Yeah, and they still haven’t figured out why people don’t like the exorbitant prices of Superbase stuff. A box to put Enhancements in is gonna cost me 750,000 Prestige? Oh, sure, the box itself isn’t that much: but I need a working base with power and control units so I can open the box and take an Enhancement out. Yippee skip, another blow struck for the massively large Supergroups against the evil oppressing casual players. ---

Question- I know one of the I7 changes is that exploration badges now give XP. Please, please PLEASE tell me that’s retroactive. I have a character who has all of them outside Eden and the Rikti site, and I’d really like the xp without having to go over ALL OF THEM AGAIN. ---

Since they already track when you got the badges, they shouldn’t have to do serious datamining. Perhaps some one on Test could verify? ---

[/QUOTE] I didn’t get any debt paid off when I logged into Test with a copy of my main, who has all of the exploration badges. I suspect that means it’s not retroactive. I could copy my L1 explorer character over tonight–it would be really obvious on him, as he has 0 xp and about 40 exploration badges. ---

Update: I copies Agoraphobic Man over. When I logged in on him, he still had 0 xp, so it’s not retroactive. Nor do you get xp for returning to the site where you got the badge; it’s apparently tied to the actual badge award event. ---

Reports on the official boards is that exploration badge XP is so low it won’t matter anyway. 0 for a level 1, 5 for a 2…up to 500 for a 50. ---

I logged in and have been playing for approximately 2 hours this morning (after seven hours patching last night). It’s for reals. ---
