I only played for a little over an hour tonight (first time since Halloween started,) and I already got all 4 zombie badges, two trick-or-treating costume badges, and one of the badges for fighting enemies that spawn for tricks. I love getting badges. I wish they had a badge for having 300 badges, cause I’d be very close to that. ---

I just got my first character to 50 last night, an Archery/Dev Blaster. I wanted to get that out of the way before Double XP weekend so I can make good progress on a new character. I tried out a peacebringer, they remind me of a Rad Corruptor so far. The blasts look a lot like that. But my next main will be a new Dual Blades / Willpower Brute. I’ve set up this character to be a rival for my Archer. My archer originally signed up for an interesting supergroup that had a whole backstory before they all left COH behind, so I’ve carried on the backstories of the SG into my archer’s story and now her rival. I should be able to get pretty far with the brute this weekend, especially if I can stay in some good teams. One funny thing is my archer always wore a lot of dark colors, red and black and whatnot, so I’ve decided to be different and make the brute the opposite, with white and blue as main colors. That way my hero and villain as rivals are backwards compared to the “expected” colors. ---

How do you like Willpower? My SS/WP Brute, Truck Driving Elvis, is up to 32, and has more endurance regen than I have ever seen. I picked up Stamina to go along with WP’s Quick Recovery, and then adding in Speed Boost from Dangerosa’s Sonics/Kin Corruptor, I have almost never seen him go below 50% end, running all of my toggles and attacking constantly (thanks to Speed Boost). ---

It was fun. I doesn’t seem to provide much at low levels but I’m sure it gets better later. Duel Blades was fun but seems incomplete until I get some combos. I ended up playing a Rad/Rad corruptor over Double XP weekend instead. On a team, he did really well, but when I went soloing later I struggled a lot. I took too many secondary powers I think. I like the look, its just it takes forever to take down anyone. ---

Love it. Samandarin, my WP/Fire, only drops below 50% when Strength of Will drops, and then for only a minute. My only complaint about WP is the weak taunt aura, but with my two /Fire PBAOEs slotted for taunt, I don’t have much of a problem keeping bad guys’ attention. ---

I’ve been considering taking Taunt on Elvis for just that reason, plus the -75% strength to range wouldn’t hurt.
