Does anyone know when a tpb is due for this miniseries? I’ve been avoiding reading any of the issues so I could read it all when the trade comes out, but I don’t have access to any comic book stores or people who would know. also, is it even worth it to pick it up when it’s released?

I really enjoy it, but the last issue appears to be running really late. After it comes out, I’d expect the TPB a month or so later. I’ll probably pick it up when it does come out so I can get all of the “Director’s Cut” stuff they published int he second printings of each issue thus far.

great, thanks. although it sucks when a comic gets close to the end and decides it doesn’t want to finish the series for an obscenely long time. (rising stars, I’m looking at you.)

At least with Rising Stars, it wasn’t JMS falling behind. IIRC, he was finished with the story, just holding out because Top Cow was jerking him around for some reason. They finally worked out their differences and JMS released his scripts. Kevin Smith has no such excuse.

that’s what I heard recently, that top cow came out with that mathew bright series and was working on a laurel darkhaven series without his permission. which seems like a pretty rotten thing to do on their part. the bright series wasn’t very good, and while I don’t have them with me, I don’t think JMS was involved.
