No. It might have been a reluctant yes if the Bush team hadn’t completely fumbled the diplomacy and painted himself into a corner. And actually, the dark and perverse part of me wants to see the complete hash that will be made of the world as a result of the now-inevitable war, so folks can reject Bush-style gunboat bullying for a few decades, at least until the pendulum swings again. But otherwise, no. ---

I hate Bush, but I’m more alarmed at his domestic policies than his handling of foreign affairs. I’m OK with war. Hehe…I was just watching the news and one reporter asked, “We had smart bombs last time. Do we have really smart bombs now?” Reminds me of a recent Onion headline: “FOX news reporter asks questions others are too smart to ask.” ---
