I liked the steampunk gear, but I noticed that the nice keyboard was matched with a modern monitor with a brand name. Made me wonder if they had a nice monitor mod to go with the keyboard, but got stuck with a forced product placement.

SOmething like the communicator screens with a wood and brass frame would indeed have been far more cool.š

Soā¦what was the show in the 90s where a group of people had to track down āevilā objects to protect humanity? I know it was named after a movie that it didnāt remotely resemble, so either **Friday the 13th** or **Poltergeist the Legacy**. Any way, this show reminds me of that.

Drat, Iāve noticed that the older guy seems to open the right side of his mouth wider than the left. This is going to bother me now (and so I share it.)
Of course if this was House, it would be an indication that he has lupus.

Iām glad someone tracked down that Warehouse 23 site. Iāve used that before for creative writing ideas for my high school English class. Their minds were collectively blown.

From the way the In-Charge lady keeps appearing in other peopleās offices/homes, I bet that some of the artifacts are getting weaponized and/or utilized by the government in some way..perhaps in Warehouse 14?
So is the B&B lady the In-Charge ladyās daughter? Or just a friend of Scientist guy? She seemed to know what was going onā¦
The facts that they kept talking about artifacts made me think of Eureka, which was funny since they showed about 20 commercials for it during this show. Hey, maybe they send the artifacts to Global Dynamics to get weaponized? š

Liked it enough to set up to watch the second episode (yay TiVo).
I like the historical referents, and the sense that all may not be what it appears. Iām getting to like the female agent (now that her expressions have grown past the bug-eyed, severe lips stare). Iāll give this one a chance.
Itās not astoundingly original, but it will be interesting to see where they go.
Canāt help thinking that _Artie_ (the Saul Rubinek character) would make a great Doctor Who.

I liked it (well, I have 50 minutes of it to go yet). I donāt see where itās āformulaic,ā but then I never watched X-files regularly, and Eureka seems kinda boring to me (hubby likes it, but any time Iāve watched, it seems thereās a whole lot of talk and very little action). Iāve never seen anything like it on tv. I go for occult-type stuff, and this seems like it has a lot of potential in that regard, and it has a lot of room for tweaking in case it doesnāt get decent ratings. Oh, and yes, when Artie showed them the warehouse, I had the same thought: āoh, thatās where the Ark of the Covenant is!ā Iāll keep watching.

Dunno, but in the Men in Black movie they said that the tabloids were accurate, investigative reporting.
