If this board disapproves of honesty and vulgarity, put it in the rule book. Otherwise, this behavior is not befitting a moderator. It smacks of moral superiority and sanctimony. ---

Ypu went in there loaded for bear. Even after SOP told everyone to calm down you came back with: “If you’re going to warn me about skirting posting guidelines, please do so with specific violations. If you want to call me an asshole, feel free.” Sounds like you got what you wished for. ---

It’s not up to you to decide what the standard is for creating threads. If you don’t like a topic, you’re free not to participate in it or reply. If you want to give your disagreeing opinion, it’s possible to do it in a non-aggressive manner. If the objection is vulgarity, outlaw vulgarity. If we’re not allowed to be bitchy when another member posts inane things that rub us the wrong way, why bother? Seriously, what’s the point? Politely disagree? Fuck that. I do that in real life. ---

An order to dial it back had already been given and it wasn’t working. At that point, pick your charge, doesn’t matter, you weren’t toning it down. Worrying about if the specific warning was technically correct is just semantics and can’t possibly serve you well no matter what answers people give you. ---
