According to [public act 750.532](http://michiganlegislature.org/mileg.asp?page=getObject&objName=mcl-750-532&queryid=668684&highlight=unmarried%20) seducing and ‘debauching’ an unmarried woman is a felony. :eek: Punishable by up to 5 years in prison (no wonder our damn prisons are full) Unfortunately for me, there’s a one year statute of limitations on that (so a bunch o’ n’er do wells from the 70’s and 80’s are safe). And, for those who think “oh, that’s just one of those archaic laws that aren’t used anymore”, think again. I looked it up 'cause I saw some one convicted of it listed in the paper today. (yes, perhaps there’s more to the story, but the language of the law is clear - sexual relations, even with an unmarried adult female can be prosecuted under our law.) ---
