I guess I’ve been mispronouncing it while playing Monopoly for the last 50 years.
Warren Buffet is very approachable and quite a nice guy. He is easy to find at local restaurants. We were seated at a table next to him a couple of years ago.
I know you’ve been given good answers, but just FTR, Wikipedia has the pronunciation of his name right at the top of his page. It does for pretty much everyone with a name that’s not clear in its pronunciation (most names of very famous people, actually). I totally understand not wanting to try to decipher IPA, but in this case it clearly has a t at the end.
