To see why we get tired of the silliness regarding the WTC/Pentagon attacks, note how many threads have already been devoted to debunking exactly the same tripe from Loose Change and AE911 and similar nutcases. There has been a lot of research from buildings which collapse in earthquakes, many of which have considerable components of lateral force. Depending on the country and building codes, buildings will either topple to the side or pancake, and I’ve seen a documentary which showed how the various structural defects will affect which type of collapse occurs. ---
