# Was a face visible in the WTC impact?

This may be a GD. Mods, please move if you see fit.

[This site](http://www.saunalahti.fi/miikap2/wtc666/) claims a devil face appeared during the 2nd WTC explosion. I’ve looked at the footage available on the CNN site, and I must say the image of a face in the explosion is compelling. That having been said, I’m sure this is just a coincident image in the debris cloud. But, jeez, it is a very creepy coincidence.

Does anyone else agree this is creepy? Is it a coincidence (IMHO, yes, but draw your own conclusion) ?

FWIW, I started another thread [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=87562) asking for cites to better quality images of the WTC impacts. The stuff available online that I’ve found is very low-res or worse. It would be interesting to see better-quality images of this supposed ‘face’.
