# Was Bush sr. the only former pres taken to a safe place during the 9//11 attacks?

_sigh_ I really shouldn’t have to explain this - applying a little common sense would give you the answer: National Security.

Former Presidents possess knowledge that could be used to cripple or destroy our country. If they were kidnapped, they could be tortured and/or drugged to extract information, which our enemies would then use against us.
