On the old 1960s cop show “Adam-12”, they did a story of a madman who kidnapped people, tied them to a bomb and forced them to rob banks. The “bad guy” was played by the bartender on “All in the Family”. ---

The story doesn’t say they were trying to disarm the bomb, but they were right? I mean, they weren’t just standing around claiming that his bomb was a fake? ~frowns~ ---

According to the story, they were waiting for the bomb squad (very dumb for your average joe to try and disarm a bomb, hollywood notwithstanding)
