According to the bible, the age of the WORLD, not just man, is no more than 6000 years old. To me, that suggests that the bible is obviously mythology, not meant to be taken literally. It contains truths or insights, but is not true in the usual non-fiction sense of the word. ---

John 1:1 goes back further than Genesis, and it gives no dates whatsoever. ---

Conjecture. Conjecture with zero evidence, but in your world the dinosaurs were wiped out 12,000 years ago in the last ice age so as far as factual information goes we can just make up what ever shit we want. ---

Getting banned is not an honorific, which the mods need to remind me of now and then. And I am not surprised they ban you. Your beliefs are more than a bit unconventional, by any religious or scientific point of view that I can think of… ---

I’ll just say this – If you were doing science, then when someone pointed out inconsistencies in your theory, or contradictory evidence, you would consider the evidence, provide a reasoned rebuttal, or revisit your theory. If your response is to insist that you’re right despite the evidence, and complain that you’re being persecuted, you’re doing religion. Especially if you’re insisting on the historical accuracy of a book written 3,000 years ago by a group of pre-technologic goatherds.
