I tried emailing the revival email address and got my email bounced back. I guess the revival did not get off the ground.

So very sad.

How come you can get the complete works of the Three Stooges on DVD but not an excellent series like Steve Allen’s “Meeting of Minds.”?

If only Allen had included the occasional pie fight…

I agree with you, how sad.

I also remember an episode where an ethnic Chinese woman played the Chinese Empress Tzu Hsi.

> Jayne Meadows, Allen’s wife, played most of the female characters that appeared, except for when the race of the character was different. For example, an Asian actress played Tzu Hsi, the Chinese Dowager Empress.

```
                I It has not been released on the market. Their son owns the rights but hasn't currently had any interest in putting the program out. Six episodes are on YouTube.
> The only one I remember featured Jane Allen as Cleopatra. I don’t remember who the other personalities were, but it’s amazing how many times I’ve thought of the concept over the years. How intensely interesting it would be to write those scripts.
IIRC, Thomas Paine was in the episode with Cleopatra. They disagreed strenuously over human rights and the right of monarchs to rule.
Leon Askin did play both Luther and Marx. Other actors were featured in more than one role as well.
Have I really been that pedantically snarky all these years? Well played, young **drop**! Those shows were un-watchable;.
