Wow! That was quick! Thread- " Most important question, blah, blah, blah". ( don’t know how to post links yet). That was like standing at track level at the Indy 500 and having Jeff Gordon go by you.

The fact that this thread was cross-posted in almost every forum and also the fact that it is pure glurge rather than a genuine post seeking an exchange of ideas is prima facie evidence for banning and removal of the threads.
These pop up here from time to time, and are always swiftly disappeared by our vigilant mods.
Usually this type of thing is done either by a bot or a drive-by poster, who opens a guest account for the sole purpose of making this post and never comes back.

I don’t know if it was a record, but it was mighty fast!
For those of you who blinked, a piece of spam was cross-posted to multiple fora. I hit the “Report Bad Post” on it the moment I saw it and doubtless, many dozens of thers did the same. Within minutes the OP was banned and the threads disappeared.
Let’s hear it for the mods’n’admins! They musta whipped the hamsters something serious to get that done so quick. 😉

That was pretty quick. I first saw one appear in the pit and then watched the posts climb up the forums, then I opened one and saw the poster was banned and then just as quickly the threads were gone. As a moderator on another board I was getting twitchy with the desire to delete the threads myself. Fortuantely there was a thread on my boards in need of locking so I was able to get that out of my system.

Thanks **FBG** , I only saw it in one forum and also thought " What the hell is this?’ I just don’t get people like this. Gives " Get a life" a whole new meaning. I guess I’m more surprised than most of you 'cause I’m new around here but it sure made me step away from the screen.
**Hal Briston** , If you would be so kind as to stop over, maybe after supper and introduce me to the “cut and paste” world, I would really appreciate it. I get around the net alright but in actual fact, I’m pretty much a :wally in most of the rest. 😉

That’d be kinda cool to have a little animation when threads are deleted. The thread title is shot by a 1920’s Style “death ray”, or is crushed by a giant clog, Monty Python-style, or sorta like when you delete somethign from the OS X Dock.
