The jumpsuit that Nick was wearing looks nothing like the jumpsuits that Americans keep their prisoners in. Note the difference in colors, sleeves, and that Nick’s outfit looks a bit ‘reflective’, whereas US ‘issued’ jumpsuits are just cotton.
This is one of the ways that these damnedable tinfoil stories begins. Some nutty website claims that, golly, it must be a US jumpsuit! And so the meme goes on, unchallenged. That and a man on the grassy knoll, and the true story just gets obscured.
(WARNING: Graphic images. Here is a page with a photo of an Iraqi in a US issued suit. The page may not be for the squeemish, hence the Camp X-ray link above.)
Me too, actually, although I wouldn’t go so far as the Tinfoil Hat Brigade and automatically assume that the Illuminati staged the whole thing from start to finish.
Well, then to swap ends a bit, is there anything about the video that fairly screams “authentic”? As in, “no way could they have faked that part…”
I’m not convinced that the video was fake, but the pictures of the Camp X-Ray prisoners shows at least three different shades of orange jumpsuits (maybe it’s just the light)?
There’s faded orange, really red orange and one inbetween which I can make out. Claiming the colours are different doesn’t really constitute as a good argument.
