# Was the Pennsylvanian Treasurer R. Budd Dwyer in fact guilty?

I’m not as sure that it wouldn’t fly. Given how much footage we have now from dash cams and other sources of people at the moment of death (from being shot by police to fatal crashes) its almost like it has become common to see images like that. Suicide makes it a little different but I can see some news sources still running the whole action basically as it happened.

I guess I haven’t watched TV news in a long time, and I certainly don’t watch footage of violent accidents or deaths. So maybe I would find it more shocking than the average person.
