Was the perfect car outlawed?

we still don’t. My car has a 350 mile range per “charge.” I can “recharge” it from flat in about three minutes. Ain’t no battery-powered car that can manage that.

Well, they are fine for in-city driving. And hybrid technology is certainly solid, including plug-in. But yes, the 100% electric car is still not for everyone.

The EV-1 was a limited time experiment the people that leased them were told upfront that the lease was for a limited time to gather real world experience with EVs. They were also that GM would be taking the cars back at the end of the lease.
GM did just what they said they would.
