I object to the closing of the [threesome poll](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&postid=4243847#post4243847). Nobody was getting out of hand, the discussion was interesting, and it’s a topic that’s of interest to many. Is there some reason we can’t discuss adult topics in a sane manner on this forum? ---

I concur. FWIW, there was a similar IMHO thread a while ago ([So, How great was your Threesome?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=63751)) that was never closed, and let’s not forget the MPSIMS gem [the proper way to initiate a threesome](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=74870&highlight=threesome). I didn’t see anything particularly wrong with the aforementioned locked thread, nor anything that would make it distinct from those other two threads, and it was certainly not outside the generally accepted realm of subject matter usually permitted on these boards. From the mod closing post, I think it was because people (in the mod’s view) were starting to use the thread just to post sex stories. But I’m no telepath, mind you, so take my theory with a huge grain of salt. ---

He cited the reason for closing it. Why is this confusing? Clearly it was in the wrong forum. It should have been in MPSIMS: More Plural Sex I Must Share.
