In the recent column about laundry Cecil implies that European laundry workers have triple the usual rate of a particular eye cancer due to contaminates in the laundry. It is also possible that they might be getting this from exposure to laundry chemicals in doses far higher than the general public? I can put two and two together as well but a good researcher doesn’t jump to hasty conclusions.
