[QUOTE=MGibson]
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone state that homosexuals should be excluded from marriage on the sole basis that they cannot conceive children. I’m sure you can find an anti-homosexual marriage proponent who basis his belief mainly on the having children angle but I doubt you’ll find many.

Reqally?! This was exactly the argument the Washington State AG made to the WA Supreme Court. (I saw it on CSPAN)

Follow this logic:

1. It is important that children are born to a married couple.
2. Homosexuals cannot have children with their chosen partner.
Therefore homosexuals should not get married totheir chosen partner.

Is this a complete travesty of logic? Yes. Did it work? Yes. (Guess justices don’t study logic) Will this law show the Washington SC the error of the logic? Hopefully
