The “woman singer” on “Kiss At the End of the Rainbow” was Katherine O’Hara. It’s not like she’s an unknown or anything. She was on SCTV, she was Eugene Levy’s slutty wife in _Best in Show_, she was the mom in _Home Alone_. Ring any bells?

> Note: the instrument being played during the first chord mountain song, with the crank being turned, was _not_ a chorded zither of any sort.

No one claimed it was. They were talking about the fourth song, _A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow_, from the mockumentary _A Mighty Wind_, sung by Mitch and Mickey (Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara). Mickey was playing a chorded zither, or Autoharp.
