I caught it earlier today. Tiger plays Carl Spachler. They’ll probably air it around the award for…umm… ---

Nice one animated-short-boy for thanking his fella. This Cold Mountain song is v. nice, pity Sting isn’t wearing that fab outfit he had on at the Victoria Secret gala. ---

Forget Liv Tyler’s hair and dress; she’s now out-homelied them with her glasses! ---

Someone convinced her she could do the 60’s look…bummer. She’s such a classic beauty, she doesn’t need a “theme” ---

Aw, to heck with the theme songs. I wanna see David Letterman make an ill-starred Oscar reprise with… Harvey Pekar[!] joining him onstage, to present one of the technical prizes. 😃 ---

Alison Krauss has a nice voice. I’ve seen the movie twice, but I don’t think I’ve heard either of these songs on their own yet. Both very nice. Liv Tyler annoys the crap out of me, I have no idea why (my only hope for her role of Arwen was that she not ruin the movie). ---

Not that La Liv has ever conjured images of Marilyn in my mind (far from it!). Although, that whispery, hesitant delivery of hers does have a certain resonance. Tell me she’s dating A-Rod and I’ll believe it. ---
