May I say, during the break, that Angelina Jolie actually looks really, really classy (except for her rather unfortunate tattoo?) Not that trash-classy she usually manages, she actually really looks _great_ this time. (Well, and so do her nipples.) Good girl! ---

Oprah Winfrey has a great dress, but she really shouldn’t have stuck her finger in that electrical socket before she came onstage. I predict LOTR will win best pic, it’s practically sweeping the tech awards. ---

**mouthbreather** – for clarity, I felt _Master and Commander_ should have won for sound mixing, because I was utterly enthralled by it in the theatre, but thought that it would likely go to _Return of the King_, which it did. Didn’t have time to be so verbose as it happened, though. 😃 ---

She looks great, with the sad exception of the bow. If I was even a little worried about my rear view, I wouldn’t staple a huge bow to it. Personally. ---

I think she looks stoned out of her head, completely wasted. Not saying she is, but she certainly looks disconnected. It also looks like she had BBTs name dug off her arm with a rusty spoon. I adore her, but classically classy is not her look. ---

Okay, we had a major power failure here, and I missed the first ~2 hours of the Oscars. This is awful. Is anyone taping the broadcast? Would anybody be willing to send me their tape, even just as a brief loan? If another Doper would be kind enough to share the Oscars with me, I’d be very happy to pay for the cost of postage (to/from in the case of a loan) and the tape and throw in a batch of homemade brownies (or cookies, for the chocolate-averse) as thanks. Heh. Alec Baldwin looks like a bloated drunken uncle. Still kind of cute though but it’s funny because he used to be such a hunka hunka. I think Oprah looks like a gorgeous doll. Okay as long as I’m being immature and stupid, Nicole Kidman always wears these super tight ponytails and gives herself a facelift. It makes me laugh.
