Water in basement, bad. Water in crawlspace?

Soooo… if I’m buying the house, and the sellers really don’t want to pay for the sump pump, even though THEY were told to get one when THEY bought the house… what? Stand up and make them do it? Cave and do it myself?

You need a home inspection to find out what the cause is. Then decide if you still want the house. If you do, you may be able to get the price down if there is a problem that they aren’t willing to fix. I would also get a mold inspection if the water has been there that long. You don’t want to mess with mold. It can really mess a person up.

Had an inspection. That’s how I found out there was water in the crawlspace. I’m not the kind of person who voluntarily goes into crawlspaces
